  • Farmyard Support Worker

We are looking for an experienced farm animal carer, empathetic to animals and people, able to ensure all aspects of good animal husbandry at the farm are effectively and efficiently handled. Take part in developing farmyard-based projects, and generate income through the Mobile Farm Service, events, and other schemes.

Under the direction of the Farmyard Co-ordinator, the Support worker will be required to supervise sessional workers, volunteers, and students. You may be asked to work evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays, in order to meet service requirements.

Part–time 2 days, Friday & Saturday  £8,190.00p.a (£17,090.20 pro rata)

  • Family Volunteering Leader & Volunteering Support Worker   

Contracted 2 year post funded by Reaching Communities - Big Lottery Fund

Part-time – 22.5 hours per week: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Salary will be £10,530

To assist the Volunteering Coordinator to maintain a high standard of volunteer support, family-oriented project delivery, and farm experiences for all.

This post requires you to be able to work alongside the Volunteering Coordinator and other Farm staff, as well as independently with volunteers and user groups.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills as well as practical skills in gardening, animal care, craftwork and/or maintenance.
